I'd like to adopt a dog. What should I do?

Where is the shelter?

Unfortunately, we don't have our own shelter. Our dogs are placed with our members, foster carers, and in boarding kennels. Our headquarters are in Budapest, but some of our dogs are with foster carers in the countryside.

I'd like to become a foster carer. What should I do?

Please send us a message. It's important to know that we set similar requirements for our foster carers as we do for prospective owners, since it's extremely important to us that our dogs are kept as safe and loved as possible.

I'd like to support you / one of the dogs — can you give me an account number?

Thank you so much for thinking of us! The basis of our operating model is that we do not accept monetary donations from private individuals, so unfortunately we cannot provide an account number. However, we gladly accept in-kind donations (food, blankets, cloths, toys).

Why don't you accept money? Then how do you provide for the dogs?

We are well aware that it is very difficult to bring new supporters into animal welfare, so we don't want to draw away the already limited resources available to other organizations. That's why we maintain the Foundation with a small team and corporate support. We chose this form in order to formalize our team's operations and to lay the groundwork for our long-term plans.
